Oceans explores a largely uncharted part of our globe, a wonderland filled with mystery, beauty and power. Through state-of-the-art-underwater filmmaking techniques, the viewer is able to observe the many inhabitants of the world's great oceans, from majestic whales and the great white shark to the bizarre creatures of the deep sea.
Dokumentarfilm über das Leben in den Ozeanen, für den nicht nur populäre Tierarten wie Delfine und Wale, sondern auch weniger bekannte Spezies mit enormem technischen Aufwand fotografiert wurden. Eine schwelgerische Hymne auf Schönheit und Vielfältigkeit der Weltmeere und ihre Flora und Fauna, die auch kritische ökologische Aspekte berührt.
RedaktionOcéans n'est pas un film pédagogique. Le film fonctionne comme une somptueuse célébration des formes de la nature, saisie au plus près de sa dynamique de survie.

The Swiss marine protection organisation OceanCare is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a special screening of the documentary film Océans, which captures the immeasurable and threatened richness of life in the world's oceans in overwhelming images. To begin with, cinefile founder Andreas Furler asks the founder and long-standing head of OceanCare, Sigrid Lüber, about OceanCare's milestones and current projects.
