While a popular uprising rages in Mexico City, the rich Novello family tries to celebrate the wedding of their daughter Marianne behind the high walls of their villa. But in the midst of the turmoil, she drives to the sick wife of a former domestic servant and falls into captivity. Little by little, the insidiousness of the military apparatus, which has meanwhile taken over, becomes apparent.
